James Westerfield is an undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering at The Ohio State University.

I am working on drug release polymers for neural prosthesis applications. The polymers studied (poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(lactic acid) composites) must survive the surgical implantation process. I am currently examining the ability of the polymer to withstand implantation forces.
