To help in class communications, a complete student E-mail list and grade information can be found at grades-2001.htm. The E-mail list will be made available as soon as possible and the first grade entry will be made after the first midterm. Each student must do and turn in his or her own work in this course. The material turned in must be independently done; however, this should not be interpreted as meaning that you cannot talk to each other or even work together. Just make sure what you turn in is your own work and not copied from someone else. The text is The Phenomena of Fluid Motions by Brodkey. The contents of the book provide an outline of the course. The first 260 pages of material will be covered. The book is available at the University bookstore, other local bookstores, and from on-line distributors. It is a new reissue with corrections by Dover. |
