Research Projects

My research background and interests are broad, but most projects contain some aspect or application of aerosol science. In the past I have work on industrial, environmental and biological problems, such as heavy oil pipelining, high temperature thermodynamic modeling of incinerator fly ash, and electrodynamic balance studies of important atmospheric aerosols. These pages summarizes my current research efforts in the areas of nanodroplet structure, nucleation and condensation, the biological applications.

This work was supported  by the National Science Foundation, the Donors of the Petroleum Research Fund administered by the American Chemical Society, and NATO.
