New Student Information

Congratulations on your admission to The Ohio State University's Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department. We are excited about your arrival and wish to make your move to Columbus and your transition to life here at Ohio State as pleasant as possible.

New students are expected to arrive to the Ohio State Campus by the September 10, 2009. The Department Orientation will be on Friday, September 18th and will start at 9:30 a.m. The Graduate School will hold their orientation on Monday, September 21, 2009. The first day of Autumn Quarter 2009 is Wednesday, September 23rd.

Resources for international students: International Friendships, a registered Ohio State University student organization, provides free services for all international students and visiting scholars. If you need a ride from the airport to campus or temporary housing for a few days when you first arrive in Columbus, you are more than welcome to sign up through their website: http://ww.ifiusa.org. A volunteer with IFI will be waiting at the airport for you with a warm welcome.
