New E-Mentoring Service Available!
Ohio State has enrolled in MentorNet, an e-mentoring network that offers one-on-one, e-mail-based mentoring opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral staff and early career faculty in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
MentorNet is nonprofit and free to students. To find a mentor, fill out a profile online and select a mentor. To volunteer as a mentor, fill out a mentor profile online as well. OSU's enrollment in this service is funded by the colleges of Engineering, Biological Sciences, and Math and Physical Sciences; and the Women's Place.

Many women choose to be in our program because of their desire to help people in a technical manner. Chemical & biomolecular engineers work in the fields of medicine, pharmaceutical development, environmental health and safety, food development, with consumer products and more with the goal in mind of improving the human condition.
Our graduates have gone to medical school, graduate school at the top universities, veterinary school and to work for some of the largest chemical engineering firms in the country. We hope this page serves to answer many of your questions about our program and resources available to women. |
